Highland car tours

Hi, I am Jim Hanley and I specialise in executive car tours. I am a professional tour guide with an extensive knowledge of Scotland and her history and folklore. My tours are designed to be leisurely with ample time for visits to various places and photo stops. These tours are for the discerning traveller who does not like crowds and prefers a more personal and intimate experience.

Due to requests from many clients I have decided to introduce three new tours for the coming season. While one day tours are ideal if you are on a tight schedule, I now offer two, two day tours and one three day tour.

I cater for small groups from one to six people but I prefer to work with a maximum of four. For more people there is an extra charge. Transfers: I can arrange airport transfers from and to any of Scotland’s airports or railway stations or any hotel in Scotland. Golf Tours can also be arranged. Please note that ferry fares, entrance fees and accommodation costs are not included in tour prices. Please click on the links below for information.

Tour destinations include Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness, Cawdor Castle, Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and Clava Cairns all in the vicinity of Inverness. Futher afield we visit the Elgin and Strathspey whisky trails, Glen Affric and the Ord Distillery. The highland west coast tour includes the Moray Firth, Inverewe Gardens and Loch Broom. To visit the Isle of Skye we take the Kyle Rhea Ferry from Glenelg then tour the island visiting the MacDonald centre and Dunvegan Castle before returning via Eilean Donan Castle. Other tours visit the North Coast of Scotland and Oban, Mull and Iona.
